Dino Subašić is an internationally experienced moderator, journalist and presenter with more than five years of experience moderating high-level European and international events.
With a background in journalism, social work, theatre arts, and communication, Dino brings a strong combination of stage presence, editorial understanding and the ability to engage speakers and audiences in meaningful conversation. He has moderated conferences, panel discussions, roundtables, interviews and citizens’ dialogues across Europe, working with European Commissioners, Members of the European Parliament, diplomats, policymakers, journalists, academics, entrepreneurs and young people.
His moderation experience includes events for the European Commission, European Parliament, ESPON, EUSAIR and other European institutions and organisations.
As a journalist and television presenter, Dino has more than six years of experience working across TV, radio and digital media. This allows him to approach moderation with a journalist’s instinct: asking clear questions, following the conversation naturally, connecting different perspectives and keeping discussions accessible and engaging for the audience.
He is particularly experienced in European affairs, politics and public policy, youth, social issues, climate and energy, digitalisation, cohesion policy, business and the Western Balkans. Lately, he has engaged in public relations affairs as well.
Versatile
As TV journalist at RTV Slovenija , radio and podcast creator at Euranet Plus and freelance journalist, Dino reports from different countries on topics such as, climate, war, digitalization, migration and culture. Therefore, he is able to connect themes and messages to stories and situations from different places and of different people he visited and met.
Flexible
Dino's wide range of topics, countries and types of events make him a chameleon: adapting to the needs of the event, the participants and the mood. He works with a strict script, but can improvise when duty calls.
